OM CULLBERG In my painting the story can take any direction - like an amalgamation of sentences from an entire library of books; fact is blended with fiction - the past with the future, comedy with tragedy. I use figures (taken from newspapers or my own snap-shots) like characters to act out a scene. The figures and places have an absence and a presence, both specific and non specific in time and place.
